The S1000 Steel Heavy Fitzroy® is a steel construction, top hung, continuous ball bearing straight sliding door track designed for manual operation of doors up to 1000kg.

Suitable for a wide range of applications including public, government, correctional, commercial and retail.

Specification:

  • S1000 Steel Heavy Fitzroy® sliding door track to suit doors up to 1000kg made to order by Fitzroy® Tracks Pty Ltd
  • Custom-manufactured, top-hung continuous ball-bearing track system to suit the fixing method, door and installation dimensions with built-in non-adjustable rubber stops.
  • Track length and door travel determined by Fitzroy® Tracks Pty Ltd from dimensions provided at time of order.
Straight Single Wall

Configurations:

  • Fitzroy® Tracks can be configured to suit a range of door layouts, openings and project requirements.
  • The Fitzroy® Parallel Track System is available for multiple sliding door arrangements. When using steel Fitzroy® tracks in parallel sliding arrangements, the door collecting mechanisms for sequential operation must be incorporated into the door design, as Fitzroy® parallel door collectors are compatible with aluminium Fitzroy® tracks only.
  • Steel Fitzroy® Tracks can be curved to a constant radius.
S1000 Fixings Configurations

Please note:

  • No direct overhead fixing to concrete or masonry.
  • Maximum fixing centres: 750mm

Fitzroy® Track fixing options:

  • Face of Wall – Brackets & track-to-bracket bolt assemblies supplied. Wall fixings by others.
  • Overhead Bolt – Bolt assemblies supplied.
  • Overhead Screw – Predrilled for 16G CSK screws. Screw selection & supply by client; screws must suit track, application and door weight.

Door Connection:

  • Doors connect to the Fitzroy® Track via supplied pendant bolt assemblies – refer detail.
  • Typically, minimum of two assemblies are required per door; quantity increases with door width.
  • Frameless glass doors require a suitable patch fitting or top rail adaptor.
